Colour stories from the chair

Every colour here begins with a conversation about your actual life: how often you can come back, what your mornings look like, and what you want to see in the mirror on a random Tuesday.

Two chairs, no double-booking, and a strict no-rush policy. Marigold & Main was built on the idea that a salon visit should feel like an hour off, not an errand. Every appointment starts with a real consultation and ends with the styling tips to keep it working at home.
"A calm little corner of the neighbourhood, coffee's on when you arrive."
Two stylists · one standard

Owner · Colour lead
Fifteen years behind the chair, the last four of them here. Wren built Marigold & Main around one rule: nobody leaves with hair they can't look after. Ask about your grow-out plan before you ask about your colour. She'll have opinions on both.

Stylist · Curl specialist
Amara cuts curls the way they actually fall: dry first, then wet. Half the neighbourhood's best hair walks around on her word alone. Her Saturdays go first, so book ahead and bring reference photos. She loves reference photos.
From the chair
First salon where nobody tried to sell me a shelf of product. Just a great cut and a coffee.
My balayage grew out so gracefully I didn't panic-book for four months. That's the review.
They booked my daughter's grad blowout at 8am so she'd make photos. Small place, big heart.
