Who we are
Sorlana is the trade name of a sole proprietorship operated by Alex in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. For any question about this policy or the information held about you, email hello@sorlana.ca.
What we collect
Contact / quote-request form: your name, email address, business name (optional), phone number (optional), location, and your message. The form includes a hidden anti-spam (honeypot) field that collects no human-entered data.
Analytics: if analytics are enabled, we collect aggregate, non-identifying usage data (pages visited, approximate region, device type). We do not identify individual visitors, we do not sell personal information, and we do not use advertising trackers.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
- To deliver contracted services if you become a client.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used.
Where your information goes
These are every third party that receives any data when you use this site. If this list ever changes, it is updated here first.

Because these providers store data in the United States, that data may be subject to lawful access requests under US law. No other third party receives your information, and nothing is sold or shared for advertising.
How long we keep it
Enquiry data is kept only as long as needed to respond. For clients, records are kept for the engagement plus applicable record-keeping periods (Canada federal: generally 6 years for CRA purposes).
Your rights
Canada federal (PIPEDA): if you are in Canada, you may access the personal information we hold about you, request corrections, and withdraw consent. Complaints may be directed to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
To exercise any of these rights — including asking me to delete an enquiry you have already sent — email hello@sorlana.ca. Alex is the person accountable for personal information at Sorlana and answers these requests directly.
Children
This site is directed at business owners and is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page with an updated date.
